Prof. Paola Viganò obtained her degree in Biology from the University of Milan, Italy, followed by a post-graduate residency in Experimental Endocrinology and a Ph.D. in Prenatal Medicine.
Her research is primarily dedicated to women’s health and reproductive medicine. Over the course of her career, Prof. Viganò has authored more than 300 peer-reviewed publications, accumulating approximately 8,000 citations. She has held multiple editorial roles, including Associate Editor positions at Human Reproduction Update and Human Reproduction. She currently serves as Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Endometriosis and Uterine Disorders and Section Editor of Reproductive Biology and Endocrinology.
Prof. Viganò has held numerous leadership positions within major international scientific societies, including the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE), the Society of Endometriosis and Uterine Disorders (SEUD), and the World Endometriosis Society (WES). She has also served as co-President of the Italian Society of Human Reproduction (SIRU).

Prof. Sun-Wei Guo is a globally recognized leader in endometriosis research and gynecology. Ranked by Stanford University among the world’s top 2% of scientists, he currently serves as Professor of Gynecology at Shanghai OB/GYN Hospital, Fudan University.
Prof. Guo received his PhD from the University of Washington and has held senior academic and research positions across leading institutions in the United States and China, including the University of Michigan, University of Minnesota, the Medical College of Wisconsin, and Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
He is a past and current board member of multiple international societies, including the World Endometriosis Society and SEUD, and is a Founder, Board Member, and former President of the Asian Society of Endometriosis and Adenomyosis (ASEA). Prof. Hugh S. Taylor is a global leader in reproductive medicine and uterine biology, Prof. Taylor’s research focuses on uterine development, endocrine disruption, and regenerative medicine, translating fundamental science into clinical advances in endometriosis, infertility, and Asherman syndrome.

Professor Harada graduated from Tottori University in 1983 and he learned IVF-ET at Leeds University in England in 1985. He has been a professor since 2008.
Professor Harada has (co)authored over 220 articles in peer-review international journals. The most cited paper is “Role of cytokines in endometriosis” published in Fertility Sterility in 2001. He was the chief investigator of the drug development of 8 drugs for endometriosis and dysmenorrhea in Japan. He edited a book “Endometriosis Pathogenesis and Treatment” by Springer 2014.

Prof. Andrew Horne is an internationally recognized researcher in women’s health, with particular expertise in endometriosis and pelvic pain. He has authored more than 230 peer-reviewed scientific publications and is widely recognized for his contributions to advancing the scientific and clinical understanding of endometriosis. In addition to his academic leadership, Professor Horne serves as Scientific Advisor to the Scottish Chief Medical Officer for Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Trustee of Endometriosis UK, reflecting his active role in shaping both research and policy in women’s health. He has also co-authored a widely read book on endometriosis together with a patient, bridging scientific insight with patient experience.
