J.J. is the Founder and CEO of Foraviset, spearheading the company’s strategic overhaul and focusing on clinical advancement with a commitment to value creation and execution. He is at the forefront of a decisive repositioning of Raviset®, transforming it from an early-stage concept into a clinically and commercially viable non-hormonal therapy that has the potential to redefine treatment options in women's health.
J.J. combines a rare blend of regulatory fluency, scientific insight, and operational expertise, which enables him to adeptly navigate the intricacies of drug development while remaining focused on timelines, milestones, and investor outcomes. Under the Foraviset management team that he leads, Raviset® is being developed not just as a single indication asset, but as a scalable platform with various downstream opportunities for addressing chronic uterine disorders.
With over two decades of experience at the intersection of life sciences, strategy, and regulatory frameworks, J.J. aims to de-risk development, synchronize clinical execution with regulatory expectations, and strategically position the company for efficient progression through Phase II, Phase III, and beyond—ultimately steering towards a high-value inflection point.
Dr. Yuval Kaufman, M.D.

Dr. Kaufman is a Senior Consultant in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Carmel Medical Center in Haifa, Israel. He is the founder and director of the Multidisciplinary Center for the Treatment of Endometriosis, where he focuses on clinical advancement in women's health through innovative therapies. Dr. Kaufman also leads the Minimally Invasive Gynecological Surgery division at Carmel. In addition, he co-founded Noga Medical, a premier private center for excellence in gynecological and women’s surgical care. He serves as a Clinical Lecturer at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, providing invaluable insights into women's health, and consults for several medical device startups, including Gynica, Ark Surgical, and MST, to advance their Foraviset management strategies. Furthermore, Dr. Kaufman is a board member of the Asian Society of Endometriosis and Adenomyosis (ASEA).
Prof. Uri Dior, M.D. Ms.P.H.

Prof. Dior completed his medical studies at the Hadassah Hebrew University Medical School, followed by an advanced fellowship with the Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopy and Surgery Society, specializing in Gynecological Laparoscopy at The Royal Women’s Hospital, Australia’s leading institution for women's health. Under the guidance of world-renowned surgeons, he developed significant expertise in complex gynecological procedures, contributing to clinical advancement in the field. In 2018, Prof. Dior founded the Endometriosis Center at Hadassah Medical Center, where he currently serves as director. He has published nearly 90 scientific papers and received prestigious international awards, showcasing his leadership in gynecological surgery and Foraviset management.
Itay Cohen, CPA (MBA)

Itay Cohen has 25 years of financial and operational experience. He started his career at Ernst & Young as an Audit Team Leader, focusing mostly on technology companies. Following his work as an auditor, he moved on to serve as VP Finance and CFO for several hi-tech companies. Since 2010, he has been providing CFO services to various technology start-ups in fields including Enterprise Software, Life Science, Robotics, Fintech, Cyber Security, and women's health. His expertise also extends to clinical advancement, helping to establish the entire financial infrastructure of start-up companies while addressing international accounting, taxation, HR, and administrative concerns. Itay holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the College of Management and an MBA from Tel Aviv University. He is a Certified Public Accountant in Israel.
